Conveyor System
Now that the structure is complete, I spent some time to build the conveyor system. I used brass sheet again and soldered it in place to form the "H" shape of the sub structure. Next I made rollers on each end (covered with sand paper for gripping) and installed into the RC Car bearings I purchased.
Finally I cut the elastic banding to length and sewed it together, making sure to keep the joint of the fabric as small as possible (I ended up sewing it end to end, and not overlapping).
The motor shaft was keyed and installed on the end roller. I purchased this motor from MPJA.com
