OK...I know this looks weird.

But you need to have a way to pick up grass that doesn't adhere to the layout. And boy does it work!

I have moved on from this method, now using a small vacuum I purchased on Amazon to pick up a single material I am putting down. I really works great. AND...you can reuse the material in the next layer!
