So once you get the grass down and it has dried, you want to pick up what you didn't use . So I got an old cruddy dress sock to help with this. (You could use pantyhose too).

Just turn on the vacuum and suck away. You'll only get a little area done before you need to 'empty' the sock. So you will have to repeat often to get everything picked up.

Remember as well, don't turn off the vacuum until you are ready to drop the grass into your container :)

  • Start with the Base
  • After the base has dried, I start to work the first layer of static grass. To do this I will apply full strength Matte Medium. Using an old, smaller sized brush, I stipple around the scenery putting glue where I think it will represent the best for the scene.
